I moved to San Juan Island in 1965. I raised a family here,  many years as a single Mom. Two of my grown children are residents here as well, with children of their own. In fact, two of my daughters-in-law are 7th generation islanders.  Our roots go deep!

I fell in love with these islands from my first ferry ride.  My interest in the Home Trust stems from that love. As a single Mom, I am well aware of the difficulty of finding affordable housing.  It was through the Home Trust that I was, after many years, able to buy my own home. This enabled me to stay on the island spending my "golden years" with the family and community I love. 

By being a part of the Home Trust, I hope to help continue to extend that opportunity to others. It is so needed and so important!"
